VergeSense offers WiFi repeaters to connect sensors that are outside of the gateway range. When possible, having sensors directly connect to the gateway WiFi is preferred. Repeaters are easy to deploy and only require a single wall outlet for installation.
Installation Steps:

Insert repeater into a power outlet

Rotate the antenna so it faces the nearest gateway

The blue lights indicate power and signal strength (3-5 dots are needed for the best performance)
When using a repeater to extend the range of the WiFi signal, there are other considerations that need to be taken into account. When placing a repeater, it’s important to ensure that it is not within the WiFi signal range of more than a single gateway.
