User Types and Permissions
The following describes the various user roles available. Each user can have only one role.
Admin Users

Admin users can invite, remove, and edit permissions for Admin, Guest, or Partner users.

Only Admin users have access to the account API Key.
Guest Users

Guest users can view the analytics dashboards and reports.

Guest users have Read-Only access to view analytics dashboards and reports.

Under Settings, Guest users have access to the Account and Export Data tabs.
Partner Users
-
The Partner role is typically utilized for teams responsible for installation.

Partner users will have access to the Installer Tool and System Health tabs.

Partner users cannot invite new users or edit user permissions.
Add New Users
To add a new user:

Click Settings on the Top Right of your screen

Select the "Team" section in the left nav bar

Click "Add User"

Enter the email of the user you would like to invite

Select the desired role and buildings
-
Click Save
The newly invited user will receive an email from VergeSense with instructions to set up their account.
Restrict Access by Building

Under Settings, select the "Team" section in the left nav bar.

Click "Edit" next to the user you wish to edit permissions for

Expand the company list
-
Select buildings by the checkbox on the left side

Click Save
Remove a User
-
To remove a user from a particular building, see the instructions above.

To permanently remove a user from the Company's account, email the request to support@vergesense.com.
Add Guest Users
Admin users in the VergeSense Platform have the ability to add Guests to their team to view the VergeSense dashboards and reports.
Guest users have Read-Only access to view the dashboard for any spaces in their accounts.
To add a new Guest user:

Click Settings on the Top Right of your screen

Select the "Team" section in the left nav bar

Click the blue icon + Add User
-
Fill in the e-mail address & choose "guest" as their role
-
Click Save!
The newly invited user will receive an email from VergeSense with instructions to set up their account.
