Overview: Space Booking Insights

The Space Booking Overview dashboard provides users with a general overview of how often their spaces are being booked, the rate of in-person attendance, and tools to compare actual usage relative to meeting room capacity.

For those of you who have integrated your calendar or reservation management system with VergeSense, the Space Booking Overview insights dashboard provides directional guidance and helps your team answer the following questions:

How many meetings are scheduled and do people utilize the booked spaces?

 

What spaces are reserved and how are they utilized?

 

How long are meetings relative to their scheduled length?

Bookings

Scheduled Bookings: Calendar event for a mapped space that is scheduled during the defined period of time.

Attended Bookings: Scheduled Booking where 1+ people attended in person (as detected by VS Sensors).

Unattended Bookings: Scheduled Booking where 0 people attended in person (as detected by VS Sensors).

Unattended Rate: Unattended Bookings / Scheduled Bookings

Capacity

Average Capacity: Avg. of the capacities set for all spaces of a specific Space Type as defined in VergeSense Building Settings.

Attendance

Avg. Attendance: Avg. # of people detected within all selected spaces over the course of all working hours within the selected date range.

Peak Attendance: The max number of people detected in a specific space over the course of all working hours within the selected date range.

Booking Length

Scheduled Meeting Length: Cumulative amount of time, in hours, of Scheduled Bookings.

Actual Booking Length: Actual length of time, in hours, of Scheduled Bookings where person count > 0

Unoccupied Booking Length: Actual length of time, in hours, of Unattended Bookings where person count = 0
