Data Caching and Retention

Area Sensors

Wireless Area Sensors

The wireless L302 area sensor does not cache any data. It transmits the detection results immediately upon completion of the inference.

The wireless sensor's gateway also has no caching capability. If network connectivity to the cloud is lost for any significant time, data arriving at the gateway during that time will be lost.

Wired Area Sensors

The wired E106 area sensor (and its predecessor, the E105) caches data for about 14 days if the device is not rebooted.

Entryway Sensors

The EN-1 entryway sensor does not cache any data for reprocessing.
