- From the VergeSense homepage view, click the Settings button on the left-hand side of the page.
- Next, select the Account button from the list of options within Settings, and locate the Email Notifications section.
- Select the types of alerts you'd like to receive:

Wired device outage alerts: Receive email notifications if a wired sensor is offline for 24 hours or if a gateway is offline for 1 hour. Daily reminders will be sent until the device reconnects, or for up to one week for sensors.
Outage notifications are not available for battery-powered sensors, such as L302s and L208s. Currently, wireless (battery-powered) sensors do not support outage alerts.
- Low battery alerts: Receive alerts for sensors with battery life marked as 'Replace soon' (under 6 months remaining) or 'Replace now' (under 2 months remaining), either weekly on Mondays or monthly on the first Monday.

- When you've selected your desired alerts, click Save.
If you can’t access the Email Notifications section because Account isn’t viewable in Settings, you may lack the necessary permissions. Contact an admin in your organization or reach out to VergeSense support (support@vergesense.com) for assistance.
Testing Alert Email Notifications
To send a test email and confirm you'll receive notifications for your selected alerts, click the Send Test Email button in the Email Notifications section.
You should receive the email below, which confirms that notifications will be sent if your selected alerts are triggered.
You may need to check your spam or junk folder to find the email.
If you do not receive the test email, verify your email is correct in the Email box just above the Email Notifications section. Note that the email in the screenshot has been redacted for security reasons, and this box should not be empty when you view it.
If your email is incorrect, please contact an admin in your organization or reach out to VergeSense support (support@vergesense.com) for assistance. If your email is correct and you are still not receiving the test email, please contact VergeSense support (support@vergesense.com).
