How to Perform a Soft Reset on Your E106 Sensor

A soft reset is a simple way to restart your E106 sensor. It’s commonly used to resolve minor issues or for basic troubleshooting. Follow the steps below to perform a soft reset:

  1. Locate the Soft Reset Button: Press the soft reset button next to the LED indicator on the side of the sensor. The button only requires a single press and does not need to be held down.

  2. Observe the LED Sequence: About 10 seconds after pressing the button, the LED will follow this sequence:

    • Solid Blue (2 seconds)
    • Cycle through Red, Green, Blue four times (0.5 seconds per color)
    • Solid Green (10–12 seconds)
    • Flashing Green (5–10 seconds)
  3. Connectivity Confirmation: The LED will then turn off, indicating that the sensor has successfully reconnected.

If the LED indicator continues to flash green after it has gone through the boot sequence, this means the sensor is unable to connect to the local network. Please attempt the soft reset again, or contact VergeSense support (support@vergesense.com) for additional assistance. In your email, include the current LED status and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already performed.
