Overview
Any Building, Floor, Space Type, Space Group, or Neighborhood that has mapped and bookable spaces will also have a Bookings tab available with booking metrics. View by Space analytics to understand the most booked, attended, and no-showed spaces and opportunities to optimize availability by enabling actions (auto cancellations or early releases).
Booking Metric Definitions:
Scheduled Bookings: The number of scheduled bookings pulled from the Booking System Integration for mapped spaces.
Attended Bookings: The number of scheduled bookings that had a person detected by VergeSense sensors during the scheduled time.
If Actions are Enabled for a Space (view Space Booking Integrations to learn how to set this up) in Settings, then VergeSense is able to perform space cancellations or early releases:
No Show Cancellation Bookings: The number of bookings that were cancelled (the space released) because no person was detected by VergeSense sensors after the grace period ended.
Early Release Bookings: The number of bookings that were released early because VergeSense sensors detected 0 people during the scheduled booking, after the grace period ended.
No Action Bookings: The number of bookings that would have been no show cancelled or early released, but were not because Actions were not enabled for the spaces. No Action Bookings is now split into two categories:
- No Show Bookings: Bookings where no one attended, but the space was not released
- Ended Early Bookings: Bookings where attendees left the space before the booking ended and the space was not released
Rebookings: The number of events that were likely scheduled as the result of an early release or no show cancellation, because the Rebooked Event start time was before the original (cancelled/released) event end time.
If your integration supports Auto Check-In, then the Report will include data about spaces where the presence of a person automated the Check-In of the space (note: this only occurs if this action has been enabled in Integrations --> Settings --> Space Mapping).
Utilizing Booking Insights
Use the Building Booking summary tab to view the spaces with the most scheduled, attended, no showed or early released events to identify which spaces are getting booked and optimally (or sub-optimally) used. Do a deeper dive in the Booking Summary report to see trends overtime. View what spaces have been mapped, and which have actions (cancellations or early release) in the Space Mapping section of your Booking Integration (Settings --> Integrations --> Booking Integration --> Space Mapping).
