How to Add Users and Manage Permissions in VergeSense

Only users with the Admin role can add or remove users in VergeSense.

To add a new user:

  1. Log in to cloud.vergesense.com
  2. Go to Settings > Team
  3. Click Add User in the top-right corner
  4. Enter the user’s email address and optionally their name
  5. Select a role (see below)
  6. Assign building access
  7. Click Save

User Roles and Permissions

Admin — Full access including inviting and removing users, managing API keys, and all analytics. Only Admins can add or remove users.

Analyst (formerly Guest) — Read-only access to analytics dashboards for assigned buildings. Cannot manage users or settings.

Installer (formerly Partner) — Access to the Installer Tool and System Health. Used for hardware deployment.

IoT Manager — Access to Device Management and System Health. Used for managing sensors and gateways.

Developer — API key and webhook access only. No access to analytics dashboards.
