Continuous Green Blinking LED After Installing the E106 Wired Sensor or the G400 Gateway

If an E106 wired sensor or G400 gateway remains in a state where the green LED continuously blinks, this indicates that the device is unable to connect to the local network. This may be due to a DHCP or IP address issue when connected via Ethernet, or an association or authentication problem when connecting via WiFi.

Initial Troubleshooting Steps

Perform a Soft Reset: Press the soft reset button next to the LED indicator on the side of the device. The button only requires a single press and does not need to be held down. It will take about 40 seconds for the device to fully boot.

If the LED indicator continues to flash green after it has gone through the boot sequence, have the local network team verify that the device is visible on the internal network. The team should also confirm that the necessary addresses have been whitelisted to allow the device to communicate with VergeSense's servers

Additional Troubleshooting if the Issue Persists

If the troubleshooting steps above have been completed and the device's LED indicator continues to flash green, a factory reset may resolve the issue.

Note: Only proceed with the factory reset process if instructed by a VergeSense employee. If your E106 sensor or G400 gateway is connected via WiFi, this process will wipe the network configuration, and the WiFi credentials will need to be reconfigured.

Perform a Factory Reset: Insert a small pin into the hole next to the USB C port on the side of the device. Press and hold for 3-5 seconds, then release. It will take about 40 seconds for the device to fully boot.
