Requesting Floor plan and Space Updates

Customers can request updates to floor plans, space metadata, or both directly through the Floor Plan and Space Metadata Update Intake Form. Providing complete and accurate information upfront helps our Support team process requests faster and avoid delays.

Required Information

To avoid delays, please make sure all fields are completed accurately and match what exists in the VergeSense platform.

Account Information

  • Account Name
    Enter the account/company name exactly as it appears in the VergeSense platform.

Building & Floor Details

  • Building Name(s)
    Enter building names exactly as they appear in the platform.

    • For multiple buildings, separate names with a semicolon (;).

  • Quantity of Floors
    Indicate how many floors are included in this request.

  • Floor Numbers / IDs
    Enter floor numbers or IDs exactly as shown in the platform.

    • For multiple floors, separate each with a semicolon (;).

Change Details

Change Type

Select the type of update:

  • Floor Plan Update

  • Space Metadata Update

  • Both (if applicable)

Scope of Change 

Please specify how much of the floor is changing:

  • Full Floor Change
    The entire floor plan has changed.

  • Partial Floor Change
    Only specific areas have changed.

⚠️ Important: For partial floor changes, clearly describe which areas are affected (example: Conference room in northwest corner has changed to four huddle rooms). Missing or unclear scope details may result in follow-up questions and processing delays.

Supporting Files & Notes 

Use the Notes field to include any additional context that will help our team process your request efficiently.

For Floor Plan Updates

  • Attach CAD/DWG files whenever possible (preferred)

  • PDF or SVG files are accepted, but may increase processing time

For Space Metadata Updates

Include the following details for each affected space:

  • Space Name

  • Space Reference ID

  • Space Type

  • Space Capacity

  • Previous Space Name or Space Reference ID (if changing)

Navigate to Settings --> Building Settings --> Edit Floor --> Update Spaces by CSV --> Download CSV Template for a list of all spaces on a floor and existing metadata. This can be used as an update template.

Tips for Faster Processing

  • Double-check that all names and IDs exactly match what’s in the VergeSense platform

  • Clearly call out partial vs. full floor changes

  • Attach source files when available

  • Use semicolons (;) when submitting multiple buildings or floors
